Zellwood, Florida (February 15, 2008) – Dr. John Pallard, Executive Director of Anthony House, is pleased to announce that the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $150,000 grant to Anthony House of Zellwood, Fla.

The grant is made possible because of the great generosity of the late benefactor and Chairman, Mrs. Archibald G. Bush (Edyth Bush). The purpose of the grant is to support Anthony House as a homeless shelter and offer a fundraising challenge to the community.

The first $50,000 of the grant was given outright. The remaining $100,000 constitutes a matching grant. For every dollar given to Anthony House, the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation will match it up to the amount of $100,000 for this fiscal year. The public is invited to help Anthony House continue serving people in need by participating in this matching grant. Donations may be sent to Anthony House, PO Box 880, Zellwood, Florida 32798. You will be helping to guide the homeless to self-sufficiency.

“We are so appreciative of the generosity of this wonderful community partner, and all our neighbors,” said Pallard. “The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation’s kindness and faith, combined with the good will and support of all our neighbors will allow us to help countless individuals at our vital community organization.”
