H.O.P.E. Mobile Medical Unit
Beginning today, Wednesday, May 7, 2008, and on the first Wednesday of each month the H.O.P.E. Mobile Medical Unit will be on the Anthony House premises from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
Women's Issues
Dr. Maxine Ruddock, Ph. D, has been hosting a series of meetings for the women of Anthony House to explore issues uniquely affecting them in an effort to help Anthony House fulfill it’s mission of guiding them to independent living.
New Acoholics Anonymous at Anthony House
On Monday, May 5, 2008, a new series of meetings began under the auspices of Alcoholics Anonymous. This first meeting convened in the classroom at 8:00 PM. Mr. Cox, a member of the regional district office of AA, facilitated the session and will continue to do so on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM in the future.
David Patrick "Sarge" McCreight - R. I. P. April 13, 2008
The Gathering Place, in Sanford, Florida, was the setting for a memorial service on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 to celebrate the life of “Sarge” McCreight. Family, friends, members of the Board of Directors of Anthony House and the Executive Director, joined in prayer and sharing to recollect the love and service of “Sarge.”

Anthony House Receives $150,000 Grant
Zellwood, Florida (February 15, 2008) – Dr. John Pallard, Executive Director of Anthony House, is pleased to announce that the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $150,000 grant to Anthony House of Zellwood, Fla.
New Anthony House Graduate
Zellwood, Florida (February 15, 2008) –Dr. John Pallard, Executive Director of Anthony House and Mr. Bob Singletary, Coordinator of the Adult Leadership Classes, are pleased to announce that Edonna Meeks, a transitional resident at Anthony House since October 29, 2007 has successfully completed her program.

Personnel Change: LaShonda Harper Joins Staff
On February 8, 2008, LaShonda Harper joined the Anthony House team as the new Case Manager. She comes to Anthony House from Bridging Lives in Ocoee, Florida.
