Greggs and Too Good To Go announce they have prevented five million meals from going to waste across the UK.<\/h4>\n

British bakery Greggs partnered with food surplus marketplace Too Good To Go in 2021 to redistribute surplus food from over 2,000 stores.<\/p>\n

Greggs and Too Good To Go announced they have redistributed five million \u2018Surprise Bags\u2019 containing surplus food. Each bag contains food nearing its sell-by date, available at a reduced price.<\/p>\n

Customers download the Too Good To Go app, search for their nearest Greggs store, reserve Surprise Bags, and pick them up at a preset time.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson from Greggs said:\u00a0\u201cThis partnership supports our Greggs Pledge to reduce food surplus and make a positive impact on the planet.<\/p>\n
